Tre Simmons is a legendary basketball player from the United States. The star player was born on July 24, 1982. He started participating in various college-level basketball tournaments before playing professionally. He played for Odessa, Green River CC, and Washington during his college days. Then in his professional career, he played for various teams, including Greece, Spain, Israel, Czech Republic, Russia, France, and Puerto Rico. His name was also included in the EuroChallenge Final Four MVP in 2013.

In November 2015, Simmons started playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv and later, he entered into an agreement with a French club Antibes Shark in August 2016. Then in 2017, he returned to Israel to play for Hapoel Afula of the Liga Leumit. Simmons entered into a contract with them for the rest of the season. He scored 22 points, four assists, and four rebounds in his debut match. His record performance helped him win the game against Maccabi Hod HaSharon.

At the beginning of his career, Simmons played for the Greek League club PAOK. He had joined that club in 2006. Then Simmons changed many teams and played for many countries. For the 2006-07 season, he joined the Spanish League and then moved to ULEB Cup club Gran Canaria. However, he did not complete his term with these two clubs and moved to Israel and signed for the Superleague club Hapoel Galil Elyon. He played for Hapoel Holon in the next season and won the league championship.

When Simmons played for the University of Washington, he utilised his skills to become a pure shooter in the NCAA. He shot 86.8% from the free-throw line as a senior, ranking fourth in the Pac-10. Simmons had strong reflexes and quick release, making him shoot ideally without difficulties. Moreover, he got a good extension on the shot. He continuously honed his skills and spent four hours every day perfecting his shots. The continuous improvement has helped him gain a respectable position at the NBA level.

Simmons is more than just a spot-up shooter and has averaged 16 points in just 26.2 minutes in a balanced UW offence. He is a capable player with an average of 1.3 steals per game.
