Maverick Martin is a Division 1 football player from San Marcos. He was born to CA to Jules and De Martin, has an older sister, Mercedes, older brother, Ian and a younger sister, Juliet. His father, Jules played tight end for Chapman University, and his brother, Ian played for college football in Mexico for CETYS Tijuana and in Germany. Both his father and brother have been his football coaches since Pop Warner, he enjoys working out, working on cars and critiquing movies in his free time. He is currently pursuing a major degree in Finance.

He has done his high school from San Marcos and was selected as the team captain in his senior season in 2019. He helped his team to the Semifinals of the CIF Open Division championships (2018), named All-League honorable mention (2018). He won All-CIF Academic Team honoree twince and was named as the Comeback Player of the Year (2019) after breaking his ankle in July prior to his senior year and returning in Week 5. Other than that, he also competed in track (4 years) and wrestling for 2 years.

In his freshman year in 2020, he received the PFL Academic Honor Roll, played for four games and tallied in solo total tackle. As a sophomore, he won the PFL Academic Honor Roll, participated in ten games, totaled 12 total tackles (seven solo, five assisted). He recovered a fumble against UC Davis (Sept. 11) and oined Will Buck on a sack against St. Thomas (Oct. 2). He has a bright future ahead.
